I have always been told, rightly so, that I make the BEST devilled eggs. ;) I am going to share with you not only my recipe, but also a really fun, easy, no-mess way to make them.
First, put 10 eggs in a pan. Make sure they are completely covered with water. Add some salt to the water to prevent the shells from cracking, then heat to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, set your timer for 12 minutes.
When your eggs are done, start de-shelling them and cut them in half lengthwise. Put the yolks in a plastic Ziploc baggie. Once all of the yolks are in the bag, squeeze out all of the air (this is very important- if you don't squeeze the air out, your bag will bust open and then you will have a mess!) and then seal the bag. Then mash the yolks until completely, uh... mashed.
Now add the good stuff to the baggie:
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 tsp mustard
1 packet sweetener
pepper
Again, squeeze all of the air out of the baggie and carefully knead all of the ingredients together. Once everything is thoroughly mixed, snip off a small corner from the bag. Squeeze the filling into the eggs.
Once you are done, toss the Ziploc baggie. No messy cleanup or egg-covered dishes to wash! Finish by sprinkling paprika on top of the eggs.
